Come and learn Welsh with me (well, with my voice)

I love speaking Welsh, it makes me feel rooted in my community, part of an ancient culture, and grateful to the generations who kept the language alive against the odds. Welsh is glorious (not that I'm biased or anything), but so many people simply don’t feel confident using it. We’ve all met someone who says, “Oh, I understand Welsh… I’m just too nervous to speak it.” And suddenly the language becomes this revered treasure that Welsh learners love but tiptoe around.
That’s where language-learning apps come in, rather than the old mean teacher from the 80s (not that I have any experience of that... er, honest!). They don’t sigh when you forget a mutation, and they’ll happily let you practice the same sentence 47 times without an eye roll or crushing comment.
Oh, and by the way… I’m thrilled to share that I’m the new Welsh voice on a well-known language-learning app! The launch is coming up soon… so watch this space.
And remember: every stumble helps keep Welsh alive and thriving, and will lead you to those real-life conversations, the very moments that root you in your community and remind you why you started learning in the first place.
